Our eco-solvent production supports printing up to 3.2 metres wide with unlimited length, so large vehicle wraps, storefront graphics, and long-run banner jobs can be produced as continuous pieces. Advanced colour management keeps output accurate and consistent from the first print to a repeat order months later. The inks themselves are UV-resistant once cured, meaning finished prints hold their colour and structure through sustained sun, rain, and wind exposure rather than fading or degrading within a season. And because the process handles both single, one-off pieces and large production runs equally well, it fits everything from a single shop-front decal to a fleet-wide vehicle wrap rollout.

Where Eco-Solvent Fits Versus Other Processes

Eco-solvent is, first and foremost, a vinyl specialist - it is the process to reach for when the job is a flexible vinyl material like a vehicle wrap, wall decal, or vinyl banner that needs strong outdoor durability at a reasonable cost. It is not the right choice for rigid, non-porous surfaces like glass, metal, acrylic, or wood - those need direct-to-surface printing, which is what UV flatbed printing is built for. And where an eco-solvent print takes some in-machine drying time before it is ready to handle, UV-curable processes (UV roll-to-roll and UV flatbed) cure the moment the ink is exposed to UV light, letting the print be handled immediately - useful when a job is on a tight same-day timeline. HP Latex, meanwhile, uses water-based ink instead of solvent, which some indoor-focused jobs prefer for its lack of solvent odour during and immediately after printing. Eco-solvents advantage over both is cost-effectiveness at scale combined with genuinely excellent adhesion and flexibility on vinyl specifically - which is exactly why it remains the standard choice for vehicle wraps and long-run outdoor vinyl graphics.

Substrate Prep, Files, and What Matters for the Finished Print

Because eco-solvent ink partially bonds into the vinyl surface, the quality of the vinyl itself matters - cast vinyl (thinner, more conformable) is generally preferred for vehicle wraps and complex curves, while calendared vinyl is a cost-effective choice for flatter applications like wall decals and short-term signage. On the file side, artwork should be supplied at a resolution appropriate to the final print size and viewing distance, in a CMYK-ready colour profile so what gets approved on screen translates accurately once printed. For outdoor jobs expected to last multiple years, a laminate overlaminate is often recommended over the printed vinyl to add an extra layer of UV, scratch, and moisture protection beyond what the ink alone provides.

An eco-solvent job typically starts with the application - vehicle wrap, decal, poster, or banner - and the environment it needs to survive in. From there we confirm vinyl type, size, and whether lamination is needed for the expected lifespan, check the artwork file for resolution and colour readiness, and move the job into production. Vehicle wraps and other complex installs are finished with professional application; flat pieces like posters and decals are trimmed, laminated if required, and prepared for pickup, delivery, or installation.
